Noah and Jillian’s story began at the Sandusky Yacht Club, where Noah was bartending and Jillian was working as a nanny. All summer long, Jillian begged the girls she nannied to go to the pool—not because they loved it (in fact, they were pretty tired of it), but because she wanted a chance to see the cute bartender. Noah, meanwhile, thought the girls were Jillian’s kids, so he never said a word. The only exchanges they had were Jillian ordering food and Noah handing it over, though they shared plenty of shy glances across the pool deck. Finally, on the very last day of her summer nanny job, Jillian put her “detective skills” to work and found Noah on Instagram. Nervous but excited, she sent him a message. Noah waited a day to respond—still convinced Jillian had kids—but once he realized the truth, the two began talking, and everything clicked. Their first official date was on Labor Day of 2022, and it didn’t take long for Noah to ask Jillian to be his girlfriend.
