The Yacht will depart at 3PM, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to get parking (if applicable) and find the boarding area. There will be signage indicating where to park for the Carolina Girl Yacht. Boarding the vessel begins at 2:45pm, all guests must be on board no later than 3pm! The parking for the venue is paid public-parking and availability cannot be guaranteed since it is open to the public. Carpooling and Uber/Lyft is recommended.
The Welcome Party on Friday is “backyard-casual”, you can dress up or dress down as you please. Also, it will take place outside on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly. The Wedding on Saturday is “semi-formal”. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Reference the forecasted temperatures in advance to dress accordingly. We suggest bringing a jacket/sweater in case it gets breezy. ***No pointy heels are to be worn on board due to safety on the docks and yacht. Wedges, block heels and flats are required. Stilettos AND high heels are strictly forbidden on the yacht.***
Please only bring a date if your invitation specifically includes an extra guest. Unfortunately, not all of our guests will be able to bring dates since there is limited space at our venue. We apologize in advance.

The Welcome Party will take place at the Birt Residence at 2205 Shoreline Dr Johns Island, SC 29455 There will be signs and markings indicating where you can park: in the front yard of the residence.
The Wedding will take place at The Carolina Girl Yacht at 2408 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455 (Located at St. Johns Yacht Harbor) The parking for the venue is paid public-parking and availability cannot be guaranteed since it is open to the public. Parking is $16 per vehicle for 4 hours. Carpooling and Uber/Lyft is encouraged. ***Boarding the vessel begins at 2:45pm, all guests must be on board no later than 3pm!***
Yes, we have a registry listed under the “Registry” tab on this website. However, your presence at our wedding is the best present of all! Please don’t feel obligated to get us a gift.
