What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable and look great! Cocktail Attire/Semi-formal attire welcome! Think suit and tie, sharp blazer and trousers, and midi to full length "cocktail" dresses. Feel free to ask Jill for clarification if needed :)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

You know we love kiddos, but we are politely requesting an adult-only celebration (with the exception of our niece). Thank you for understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend choosing one of the hotels on the travel page, finding your own in downtown Portland or just outside of Portland. We also recommend considering looking into an Airbnb or Vrbo in the area. We are aware accommodation prices higher this time of year, so if you have any questions/concerns about any specific hotel or areas, let me know! P.S. We do not recommend booking at the Motel 6 or the Fireside Inn and Suites.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is metered parking at the ceremony location, please see map for details (https://portlandheadlight.com/wp-content/uploads/fwp-map-dec-2025-pdf.pdf) There is 24/7 metered parking at the reception. However, we are still figuring out if we are renting a bus for transportation. If not, we recommend taking a ride share ride to the reception to avoid paying for parking all night.
