The Wedding Website of Jillian Tomazin and Michael Mokas
We are getting married on Michael's family's historic property, where they grew pampas plumes. Pampas was a highly sought-after plant for home decor at the time, and the family farm was at one point the world's largest supplier. Our wedding invitation was created on an actual post card from the Pampas Nursery's heyday. Michael's family's dear friend Marie Carter and grandfather William Hughes are depicted on the card. We are excited to welcome friends and family to this special place in celebration of our wedding. Jillian's engagement ring is a family heirloom that belonged to our beloved Margaret "Gram" Hughes. While her and William "Poppy" Hughes are no longer with us their presence is honored through the details and the land we are getting married on. Michael's wedding band belonged to his late father Evan Angelo Mokas. Engraved on the inside is both of their initials and wedding anniversary's.
