We are excited to host a Friday evening welcome event at The Stowe Village Inn. You can arrive anytime after 4pm if you want to get here early, but the main event will kick off at 7pm. The bar and restaurant are located at the back of the venue and open at 4pm. We will have an open bar, consisting of beer and wine, which starts at 7pm and runs until 10pm. The event will also feature light bites as follows: - Beef Tenderloin Crostini - Cherry Tomato Mozzarella Kebab - Bacon Wrapped Chicken Skewers - Shrimp Cocktail Shooters - Mini Grilled Cheese and Tomato Provincial Bisque - Spring Rolls - Scallops Wrapped In Bacon - Apple Cider Glaze NOTE: we are aiming to keep this a "light" version of Saturday's celebration (9/16), hence no cocktails in the open bar! That said, other drinks will be available, but use your discretion as the next day's events will feature a full open bar, a live band, and an after party that will run until 1am, so pace accordingly!

Breakfast & Lunch Spots in Stowe, VT

While there will be light bites at Edson Hill ahead of the wedding, but we recommend getting breakfast and/or a light lunch ahead of the ceremony. Below are our favorite spots, in slight preference order, with Saturday business hours. Keep in mind, these hours are as of May 2023, so might change; make sure to check restaurant hours closer to the day (9/16). BREAKFAST: - Butler's Pantry: 8am-12pm, need a reservation, so check the night before - The Skinny Pancake Downtown Stowe: 8am+, reservation might be a good idea - Black Cap Coffee & Bakery: 7am+, no reservation needed - The Bagel: 6:30am-2pm, odd hour changes at times, so call ahead LUNCH: - Doc Ponds: 12pm+, reservation might be a good idea (their waitlist is on Yelp) - Ideltyme Brewing Company: 11:30am+, reservation might be a good idea - The Skinny Pancake Downtown Stowe: 8am+, reservation might be a good idea - Backyard: 12pm+, reservation might be a good idea Let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!
Wedding Ceremony

Formal attire: suits for men and dresses for women. Tuxedos are fine, although not required.
Timing subject to limited change, but please aim to be at Edson Hill by no later than 4:05pm. We will have shuttles taking guests from some of the hotels in town to Edson Hill, according to this schedule (again, subject to limited change): - 2:55pm: shuttle arrives at The Stowe Village Inn (departs at 3:10pm) - 3:15pm: shuttle arrives at Field Guide Lodge (departs at 3:30pm) - 3:40pm: arrive at Edson Hill (departs at 3:50pm) - 3:55pm: arrive at Tälta Lodge (departs at 4:00pm) - 4:05pm: arrive at Edson Hill (departs at 3:50pm) NOTE: all guests can take ANY shuttle, but please try to take the shuttle associated with your hotel to conserve space. If you are not staying at one of these hotels and do not have a car, please try to use the shuttles because Uber in Stowe can be unreliable (at best!). We will be on a relatively tight schedule, so earlier arrival at Edson is preferred; feel free to arrive at 3.30pm and enjoy the venue.

Join us for a 3 course culinary experience, with carefully crafted menus, and a beautiful backdrop on the Edson's Upper Meadow lawn. Once the food has settled down, jump to your feet and let's dance!
After Party

Ignore the time listed, the actual after party will run from 10pm - 1am! Join us up in Edson's Tavern in the main manor house to enjoy good company, drinking, and more revelry. If you want to take a break, why not step out and enjoy some light bites, such as a scoop of Ben & Jerry's (a VT favorite)! We can't wait to wrap up the big day with one of our favorite cozy spots in Stowe!

Farewell Brunch

Alas, all good things must come to an end! For one last hurrah, if you're not too hungover, please join us in Edson Hill's Upper Patio and Dining Room spaces for a tasty farewell brunch to cap off a wonderful weekend with family and friends. As always, we can't wait to celebrate with you all.
