Things To Do

Philadelphia's Magic Gardens

1020 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147

This is Jillian's favorite place in the city! Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a non-profit organization, folk art environment, and gallery space on South Street in Philadelphia. To date, it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. You can book a self guided walking tour through the property on their website. Most people spend about 30-60 minutes here.

Spruce Street Harbor Park

301 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106

This park sits between the Hilton Hotel and The Moshulu! It's a beautiful park filled with hammocks, food trucks, and beer stations. It is a great place to hang out and just enjoy watching the busy Philly streets or beautiful Delaware River.

Morgan's Pier

221 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Such a great place to grab a bite to eat or sip on a cocktail while overlooking the river.

Independence Hall

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

A true "must-see" staple of Old City! There are many bus tours and walking tours of Old City available that gather at this historic site.

Tom's Dim Sum

59 North 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

This is Jillian and Matt's favorite dim sum restaurant! Amazing soup dumplings with can't beat prices.

Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Also known as the "Rocky Steps," this is another iconic stop in Philly. The museum itself is beautiful! Jillian and Matt highly recommend stopping in if you have the chance!
