July in Monterey is classic coastal California weather — mild, breezy, and beautiful. Daytime temps are usually in the low 70s, with cooler mornings and evenings in the 50s. It’s generally sunny and dry, but the ocean breeze (and occasional coastal fog) can make it feel cooler, especially near the water. We recommend layers — light outfits during the day and a sweater or jacket for the evening.
