Best Man
Mike and I have been friends since our grade school days but really bonded as we became adults. Specifically, we bonded at a Macklemore performance at the Preakness Infield. He's always a good time, a steady friend, and is the first friend in the group to experience parenthood (thanks for the handmedowns someday).
Maid of Honor
The MOH! Delaney and I met in college after joining the same sorority and became instant best friends after realizing we were both ex-Irish dancing future speech pathologists and therefore soulmates. Delaney may replace Jeremy for the first dance, stay tuned...
Groomsman
Brendan and I became friends in college through mutual friends. Turns out he had a sister named Jillian.
Bridesmaid
Former sorority sisters and current real sisters. Kate schemed her way into a permanent spot in the Sikora family post college but she had assumed the big sister role years prior, complete with sibling-like terrorizing (on Kate's part).
Groomsman
Scott grew up 100 yards from me. We frolicked in the neighborhood as kids, went to college together, and have remained friends since. Along with Ben Barile, we've shared a ton of laughs and misadventures together.
Bridesmaid
Ciara (pronounced kee-arr-uh) and I became friends after joining the same sorority, sharing an affinity for gossip sessions, odd humor, and "tiny hands" from SNL. Post-grad DC living brought us into adulthood together, interspersed with nights out at establishments that we will hopefully never have to revisit.
Groomsman
Brent is a winemaker who used to be my employer. We met as kids and became good friends in adulthood. I've never argued with anyone as much as him and still get along, so I asked him to join the team.
Bridesmaid
Amy and I have been friends since the first day we joined the same sorority in college. We've maintained our long distance relationship post-college with tons of visits to DC and NYC, one of which even included an eventful meeting with a detective at the NYPD's 1st Precinct (yolo)!
Groomsman
Billy is one of three people I've ever shared a room with. We were college roommates who shared many similar tastes. I bet he's looking forward to Jillian laughing at the wedding instead of through the walls of our dorm room.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I have been friends since middle school (her hair was just as shiny then) and lived together in girlie glory with Liz for 5 years in Arlington and DC, where Katie blossomed into a Yelp Elite restaurant queen and I supported by eating a lot.
Groomsman
Part math genius part football stud - Ben and I have been friends since childhood. One of the funniest people I've ever met; we've got a laundry list of stories of mischief and fun from our days as youths through adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Liz and I lived together with Katie for 5 years in Arlington and DC, spending 4.95 of those years sitting on the couch eating cheese watching every TV show and Disney Channel Original Movie ever created.
