We’re eloping!

We met at a yearly golf tournament that Jillian’s family helps to organize. Jayson was asked to play in a foursome that would be photographed by Jillian on the first tee box. Both thinking nothing of it, they go about their day as usual— Jayson playing 18 holes and Jillian taking photos until it was time “to do lunch with the ladies”. Later that evening they found themselves at the same backyard cookout, thanks Lee! After a few tumultuous rounds of Jayson kicking everyone’s ass in cornhole, Jillian had to say something. Jayson seemingly found Jillian’s “sass-itude” to be quite endearing as he asked for her number around the fire. Jillian was impressed as he asked in front of several of her older brother’s friends— who have always protected her the way they know Brian would. They haven’t stopped talking since ❤️

On what was supposed to be a surprise weekend for Jayson, he delivered Jillian the biggest surprise of her lifetime! Jillian spent months making secret plans with Brandi to get Jayson and PJ together in Philadelphia with the guys knowing as little as possible. Jillian took this extremely seriously, not even telling Jayson where they were going while at the airport to leave! Somehow Jillian needed to keep Jayson from finding out about two of his best friends joining the trip, but also the fact that there were tickets to a Phillies game (the one team they can agree on)! On the very first night they took a walk to a local sports bar and watched the Phillies absolutely demolish the Minnesota Twins! When they got back to their Airbnb and Jillian quickly changed into her pajamas, Jayson got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. With so much love and excitement, Jillian said yes and their journey towards becoming Mr. + Mrs. Terdiman began!

We decided we want to keep this as "us" as possible, so WE'RE ELOPING! We are heading to Aruba in May with our parents to get married privately on our favorite beach. While we thought this was the perfect plan for us, we felt like something big was missing. ALL OF YOU! That's why we want to invite you to an informal reception in Lake Placid this summer!
