We’re Getting Married

I was just leaving the club in downtown Hartford when this fine gentleman decided to pull his beautiful car over and talk to me. He gave me a fake name at first and I didn’t have a phone but we made arrangements to speak again and 6 years later here we are ❤️

I was tricked into throwing my own engagement party on a beautiful summer day and the whole time I thought I was having an end of summer cookout. Not only me but my family and friends had no idea this special moment was going to happen. After running to the gas station to get more ice, my heart dropped when I saw my back yard. My fiancé had each of our children in a shirt which spelled out “will you marry me” He dropped to his knee and I tried so hard to hold in my tears and he pulled me close and said, “will you?” I shouted Yes!! Of course! And the crowd of family and friend cheered with joy; it was such a beautiful moment I will never forget I can’t wait to see you all again to share with you this next special moment in our lives ❤️
