Yes! While we are happy just to have you join us on this special occasion, we know many of you want to give money or gifts. When we get closer to the wedding we will publish a new page here for that information. We are going to be moving within a month after the wedding so money/donations to the cashfunds that will be listed is our preference to reduce moving costs. There will be a limited number of actual items OR you can ask after we move what we may need in the new home. Thank you for thinking of us!
The wedding will have separate locations for the ceremony and reception with an ample break between for travel/snacks/changing/photos/etc. We are encouraging our guests to stay near the ceremony venue in Hendersonville where there is a larger variety of hotels/airbnb/etc nearby. The reception will take place in Bethpage, official addresses will get sent out with RSVP/formal invitations.
Located in the travel tab- you can find a few options for hotels near the ceremony venue. Feel free to look around if there's somewhere else you would rather be within that area. We are giving our guests as many options as possible in terms of where they would like to stay so there are currently no blocks or deals at anywhere in particular.
There will be a formal invitation/RSVP reminder sent out closer to the wedding date. When this is sent out a page will be published on this website where you can RSVP yes or no for everyone in your party for both the Ceremony and Reception. These responses will be due by the end of February 2027 to give our vendors (and ourselves) plenty of time to finalize preparations.
All plus ones will be included on the formal invitations / RSVP list. At this time there is no additional room for people not included on this list. Please contact the bride or groom if you believe there was a mistake with your invitation, but at this time we have no additional room.
All children that are invited will be included in RSVP invitations if they live in your household.
There will be catered food at the venue. If you have any severe allergies or dietary restrictions please inform the bride/groom prior to wedding date and we can clarify with our vendors if the food is safe for you to eat or if we recommend bringing some safe snacks.
We would like our ceremony to be an unplugged event. We ask that all phones be put away and turned off/on silent during the ceremony itself. This is all to be considerate of the church, other guests, and professional photographer who will be documenting the special day. You are more than welcome to take as many photos as you like after the ceremony in the church, and we will share all official photos when we get them. Thank you for your understanding!
We would love it if our friends and family were dressed up with us on this special day. Semi-Formal attire is encouraged but bring some comfortable shoes to dance/walk in at the reception venue! There will be time allotted to change into other shoes if desired after the ceremony.
As we are trying to give our guests as many options as possible in terms of where they would like to stay, it will be up to our guests to arrange their transportation to each venue and arrive accordingly.
We do plan on having a bar with some signature drinks that will be served midway through dinner until a few hours before the venue closes for the night. A variety of beer and wine will be available from the start of cocktail hour until the bar closes. Please drink responsibly to ensure the safety of yourself, your fellow guests, and others as you make your way back to the hotels. The bartenders are permitted to stop serving drinks to anyone they feel has become too intoxicated to preserve everyone's safety and enjoyment of this celebratory night.
