IMPORTANT: The speed posted for the Lake of the Pines community is a maximum of 25 MPH and is strictly enforced with cameras and patrol cars. Anyone caught speeding will be fined a minimum of $160. These fines get sent to our sponsor and you will be asked to pay for them should any occur. Please do not exceed this limit. We do not want our wonderful family friend that is sponsoring our day receiving any kind of fines or reprimanding for individuals who cannot follow the speed limit.
We are respectfully requesting that this be an adult only event so please make arrangements for your children and have yourself a night away for mom and dad!
All invited individual's names will be listed on the invitation. As we want this day to be an intimate celebration and surrounded by close friends and family only, we request that unless the name of your partner is explicitly listed on the invitation, plus do not bring a plus one.
All guests will need to check in at the front gate when entering the community (left lane, the right lane is community members only). Please have this information saved in your phone for check-in at the gate: - Our sponsors name (Diane Lamkin) - The Holt/Mitchell wedding at the Pavillion - Your first and last name
When you pull into the lot for the venue, the parking lot will be immediately on your right. We will have signage indicating where parking is available. Please do not park further down closer to the venue as this is for community members only and is primarily golf cart parking.
Please be sure to turn off/ silence all phones and keep them put away during the ceremony! We would love for everyone to just be present during this special time... and do not want any phones ruining any ceremony photos lol. Phones and photos will be welcomed and encouraged during the rest of the night, and we would love for any photos taken throughout the night to be shared with us!
Semi Formal / Dressy Casual The Venue is lake front and has an indoor space as well as a covered outdoor space that is attached. Please keep this in mind when choosing what to wear as we want you to be comfortable. Have fun with it, we would love to see people in fun spring colors but please wear something you are comfortable in! We don't expect anyone to come dressed super fancy but please don't show up in jeans and a t-shirt. We will be lakeside so it will be a good idea to bring a light jacket for the evening. Additionally, because we are lakeside, guests will be able to go down to the beach that the venue is on and hang out by the firepits or dip your feet in the water if desired so you may want to bring a change of shoes if you don't want to go barefoot.

Once an individual has used both of those drink tickets, drinks will need to be purchased. Non- Alcoholic options will include Iced tea, water, coffee, hot water for tea and Sodas.
