Where to Park

Answer

There is a FREE parking garage at Central United Methodist Church, less than two blocks away from The Garden Room. It is located just behind the Post Office on Dickson Street. The garage entrance is located off of N St. Charles Street and Lafayette Street across from the church's Contemporary Worship Activities Center. It is a short 3 minute walk to the Garden Room. There is a PAID parking lot on Dickson Street across from the Walton Arts Center as well. Uber and Lyft are great options for getting to Dickson Street to eliminate parking needs. Is there a dress code?

Our wedding ceremony and dancing will be outside in a shaded area. Dinner will be indoors. Our dress code is not strict, we just ask for no jeans! Ties not required!

What time do I need to be there?

Our ceremony will be starting at 6pm, with the reception to follow.

COVID-19 Concerns

Our ceremony and dancing portion of the reception will be held outdoors, and dinner will indoors. We support anyone’s decision to wear a mask at any part of the event should they feel uncomfortable, but we feel that the outdoor setting will mitigate some concerns. If you are having symptoms or feeling ill in the days leading up to the event, please refrain from attending.
