We are writing you to update you on the status of our wedding. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions we have to cancel our wedding in Sausalito. We are planning on having a very small ceremony on April 10th which you will be able to watch on Zoom. We will send out a Zoom link when the day gets closer. We are very disappointed that we can’t have our celebration with all of you in person. Thank you for being flexible and understanding in these uncertain times, we hope you all are staying safe and healthy. Love, Jillian and Brian
Our first date was a result of me (Brian) asking Jillian out for coffee in Shell Beach. We had hung our a few times before this in groups settings but it was time to step it up to the classic one-on-one coffee date. Conversation came easy and I was already planning our next date after just a few minutes into the first one. We continued to do the usual SLO date thing (hikes, walking on the beach, coffee, etc.) and I came to know one of the most kind, caring, spunky, and silly women I had ever met. It was clear to me pretty early on that I wanted to be with her all the time. Eventually I worked up the courage to ask her into a more serious relationship on a rainy March day after she defeated me in chess at a local coffee shop. She, of course said yes. We have spent time backpacking together, car camping, climbing, bike riding, hiking, running, kayaking, and pickle balling and at the end of the day we always make a great dinner together. We are a team, one which I am greatly humbled to be a part of. I never thought that my future wife would possess such an array of qualities that would make me smile so much throughout the day. Over the last three years being together we have learned to laugh together, care deeply and intentionally for each other, and have come to realize that the next step in our journey is marriage. If you haven't heard our engagement story yet, please let us know and we will fill you in on its all too hilarious details (it's too long and too good of a story to include here). We are so excited to be celebrating this day with you all. We are being bold going for a wedding in this uncertain season and we hope that you all will be flexible along with us!
