Bridal Party

Cody Szarowicz

Best Man

Cody has been my best friend since as early as I can remember. Every weekend that our families got together, we would inevitably approach one or both sets of parents, asking if we could do a sleepover. I will always remember spending weekends at our grandparents' house, watching cartoons late into the night, and fighting over which video game to play (for some reason he grew tired of Crash Bandicoot). Since our childhood escapades, Cody has married his beautiful wife Dalia and fathered a wonderful baby boy named Lucas. He has also moved back to the 716, which means we'll soon get back to seeing each other every weekend like we used to. Hopefully, we can even convince our wives to let us do sleepovers like the good old days.

Megan Styrczula

Maid of Honor

Megan and I met in the summer of 2018 as we navigated the joys and trials of summer camp at the Y in Maryland. The first time we hung out outside of work, it took all of an hour and a few glasses of wine before we agreed to be bridesmaids in each other's future (and at that time, hypothetical) weddings. What started as a work friendship quickly solidified over football weekends, burritos and margaritas, and holiday gatherings. I am incredibly grateful for Megan's steadfast friendship and support!

Shannon & Katlyn Holt

Bridesmaids

Growing up as cousins, Kate, Shannon, and I were thick as thieves at any and all family gatherings. Some of my fondest memories growing up include a multitude of experiences while camping at Allegany State Park from climbing Thunder Rocks and building our own mini camp fires to growing old enough to join in on the adult shenanigans with our families. I'll always treasure our times at family gatherings watching presents unwrap at Christmas while sitting on the stairs together and always somehow ending up at the kids table to eat... regardless of how old we are. It has been a joy growing up alongside these ladies and watching them take on the world and build their own paths. I am very grateful to know they've always got my back as we continue to navigate whatever comes next!

Carolann & Patrick Walters

Groomsman & Bridesmaid

I don't think I've ever forgiven these two for coming along and ruining that awesome "only child" thing I had going for the first two years of my life. Growing up, if we weren't fighting amongst ourselves we were banding together to get away with anything we could under Mom and Dad's noses. We rarely succeeded. Every day, I grow prouder of my siblings. Carolann is mother to a beautiful girl named Bella Jean, and watching her succeed at being a working parent increases my respect for her every day. Patrick, meanwhile, is also holding down a job while training two rambunctious dogs. I love them so much, and I am beyond excited that I get to spend my wedding day with them.

Elliott Baker

Groomsman

Elliott is the friend that I just kind of sit back in awe of, looking at how he has built his life from the ground up. We met my freshman year in college through rowing, and almost instantly became close friends, to the point where we rented a house together our senior year. Elliott is as smart as they come, extremely hardworking, and ambitious. I watched him work his ass off to earn a geology degree, and then teach himself GIS on his own time. Since college, he has moved to Phoenix, AZ, where he continues to build his career in a field that he loves while pursuing as many hobbies as he possibly can (bouldering, biking, DnD to name just a few). The guy has a motor that never shuts off, and is constantly looking for new and interesting things to learn about/pursue.

Erin Pawlowski

Groomswoman

Growing up alongside Erin has been a roller coaster to say the least! From family vacations at Disney to our annual camping trips to more hockey tournament weekends than I can count, it was a blast the whole way through. As we continue to grow and pave our paths forward, I look forward to seeing everything she will accomplish!

Austin & Johanna Schmid

Groomsman & Bridesmaid

Alex met Austin while deployed to Afghanistan. Their first real interaction ended with Alex's Platoon Sergeant kicking Austin out of the office over a joke he made (great joke, wrong audience). From that moment on, the two of them were inseparable through the rest of the deployment. Once Alex and Austin returned to Colorado Springs, it was only natural that Jillian and Jo would join the boys and get together to hang out. What followed that convergence was a beautiful story of four crazy cat ladies who love fitness, margaritas, D&D, and of course, our cats.
