In 2017, my birthday was a belated celebration. I asked a coworker to get a group together to celebrate the following week. Conveniently, that day was Joe's last day working overnight, so he slept all day and met us out that night. We bonded over quick witted remarks, good beer, and giant connect four. Little did Joe know, I was crushing on him from afar for a little over a year and a half. I was ecstatic to finally meet him and made sure to connect with him after that night.

A couple months after we started dating, Joe and I were at karaoke night with friends. No one knew we were dating yet, so when Joe grabbed me, gave me a big ole' hug and kiss, then asked me, "Can we get married at Red Rocks?", you could hear the roar of our friends over the music playing. Of course, I said, "Yes!" Though the ring came later, the love and commitment has always been there. This is why getting married at Red Rocks is so important to us!
