Travel Note

Flights

We recommend flying into either SLC or Grand Junction (GJ) airport. SLC is a larger airport, but the drive will be about 4 hours to the lodge. From the GJ airport, it will only be about 1.5 hours. It is also possible to fly into Moab from Phoenix or Denver on Contour Airlines. It's a small airline that only accepts bookings 4 months out, so the earliest you could book would be the beginning of February.

Food and Drink

The lodge is relatively rural (about 20 minutes drive from downtown Moab). If you're interested in getting some snacks or drinks for your stay, it may be best to stop in GJ or SLC if you have the option, but there is also a City Market in Moab with all of the grocery store essentials. It will likely be cheaper to purchase all items prior to getting into Moab as it's just a small town. If you're flying into Grand Junction (GJ) or driving from out of state, we recommend buying alcohol before getting into Utah. It will be a lot cheaper and you'll have a bigger selection if that's what you're looking for. You can definitely get alcohol in Utah as well, but there aren't really any towns between GJ and Moab, so at that point, we'd recommend the City Market in Moab for beers.
