A wonderful location for brunch. We highly recommend their Farmer's Breakfast and spicy cherrywood bacon. If you're looking for a dinner location we also highly recommend their cocktails and whiskey cake!

A delicious brunch spot. Located right across the tollway from the hotel. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

One of our very favorite outdoor date locations. Excellent views of WhiteRock lake. Perfect for a picnic. During October they have a magnificent pumpkin village display.

Gloria's Latin Cuisine

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is to die for and they have the best margaritas. I highly recommend the mango margarita. Fun fact: this location is turned into a salsa dancing club in the late evenings!

Klyde Warren Park

A beautiful outdoor park located in the middle of downtown Dallas. There is a large variety of food trucks with many inexpensive and delicious food options.

Reunion Tower

You may know this as the "big glowing ball" of the iconic Dallas skyline. You can ride the elevator up to the Geo- Deck for breath-taking views of Dallas. There is also a bar and restaurant up at the top of the tower.

Taqueria La Ventana

Our favorite place for authentic tacos! They are inexpensive and come in so many combinations. As a plus this is located right down the street from our reception venue.

Fort Worth Stockyards

The Stockyards is about as Texas as it comes. Located about forty-five minutes outside of Dallas in Fort Worth. Both of us attend(ed) grad school in Fort Worth and this was one of our favorite spots to hangout. Billy Bob's has excellent live music and two- stepping. The streets throughout the stock yards contain numerous country stores with real cowboy boots and hats. There are even old- time saloons! Also, cattle are herded through the streets daily.
