Our Story

Our story starts on Valentine’s Day weekend, 2016 — in Rangeley, Maine, where romance meets snow boots and Bud Light. The Ghost of Paul Revere was playing a tiny show at a bowling alley, and we both ended up there: Rachel came with her best friend Breanna and Jill with her partners in crime, Hannah and Amanda. Somewhere between the first song and the second drink, Rachel pulled us all onto the dance floor — spontaneous, charming, and an immediate green flag for Jill. Let’s just say sparks flew fast. By sunrise, we both knew this wasn’t a night we’d forget — and one of us may or may not have been spotted sipping a frozen Bud Light slushy at 7 a.m. (We’ll let you guess who.) Back home in Portland, we reconnected for our first official date at Scratch Bakery, followed by a walk with our dog, Kieva. After coffee and a few too many bagels, it was clear this was going somewhere. Many bakery dates later, we were in it for the long haul. Years later, Rachel proposed at The Ghost of Paul Revere’s final show at Thompson’s Point — a magical full-circle moment from the night we first met. Now, ten years later — on Valentine’s Day — we’re celebrating where it all began, in bowling alley style. We can’t wait to celebrate love in all its forms, surrounded by people who remind us every day how lucky we are to love and be loved. ❤️
