In 2014, 3,000 miles away from home, Jill offered up a seat in a pub to a boy named Paul in Cambridge, England. After 2 quick hours of talking, and feeling like they had known each other for a lifetime, Jill reluctantly got back on a train to London. The next day, Paul found her on Facebook (cheeky) and they have spoken all day, every day since (She has the phone bill to prove it!) Texts turned to skype calls, and skype turned plane tickets. Basically, since day 1, they knew they found their person, and even a ocean couldn't stop that. Paul happily takes Jill to any Harry Potter landmark in England (and Scotland), and makes sure to drive gently around roundabouts as they make her car sick (She also took him on a deep sea fishing trip once, where he got very sick, but we don't talk about that). In return, Jill bought Paul his first Maine lobster and has taken them to many destinations around New England and NYC, and once pushed him through a window after she locked them out of a cabin while spending the weekend in Bar Harbor. Many years of laughs, travels, and lots of love no matter the distance, has brought us here. 4 years later, Paul proposed to Jill in Cambridge, and she said YASS!
Our wedding ceremony will be held on the 11th of January, 2019 at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London at 2pm in the Westminster Room with close family and friends. In the evening, we will meet for drinks (and cake!) at The Harp at Covet Garden at 8PM and celebrate into the night.
