Owen has been part of the RC family since day 1 (August 2017) when he began working as a bar manager at the original location in Plaza Midwood. The RC community holds such a special place in our hearts, and we are thrilled to be able to invite you all into the beautifully curated second location in South End to celebrate our day. Obviously, you can expect to taste some of the best beers in the Southeastern U.S., but here are a few more fun facts/tidbits to know about the new space: - Resident Culture South End is housed in a transformed 17,000-square-foot, two-story warehouse built in the 1920s that originally served as the city’s first bus maintenance facility - The space features custom furniture from Mooresville-based Forged Timber Company - Beautifully unique art and decor designed by RC's own Maryssa Pickett are prominent throughout - each room has its own theme! - Don't miss the DJ booth above the main bar in the Lightning Drops room - complete with a spiral staircase
