In 2016, a couple of hundred eager and nervous 18-year-olds sat in the Wilkes University Gymnasium and were promised how exciting and transformative the next 4 years would be. But the awkwardness peaked when the speaker said, “Look to your right, then your left. You may very well be sitting next to your future husband or wife." Little did we know, that’s exactly what happened. It was clear early on that the two of us had an affinity for each other. After years of pretending to be “friends” we decided to cut the act and officially date in 2019. From that point on, we’ve tackled life together with unwavering love and friendship. As a couple, we graduated Wilkes, moved to Hershey, traveled, biked, ran marathons, went deep sea fishing and snorkeling, Nick completed his doctorate in medicine and matched orthopedic surgery residency, Jill engineered, and we moved to West Virginia. Notably, our love expanded in 2020 by approximately 80lbs and a whole lot of fluff. We have a spoiled mutt, Juniper, who fits perfectly into our little life and has been the best companion.
