Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jill Modyman and Jon Teer
These are a few of our favorite spots in the Seattle area! Please note that you need to show proof of vaccination at most businesses in Seattle, so you should always have either your vaccine card (a copy on your phone is fine) or a recent negative test on hand to show.

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109

The iconic Space Needle! May be best avoided if you have a fear of heights.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

A huge museum featuring jaw dropping glass blown sculptures. They do a live glass blowing demonstration a few times a day that's definitely worth trying to attend.

Ballard Avenue Northwest

Ballard Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

An historic district that's great to walk around in for a few hours. Has antiques shops, clothing stores, ice cream parlors, chocolatiers, pubs, and dining options galore.

Bill Speidels Underground Tour

614 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104

Take a tour of the weird underground history of Seattle.

Mox Boarding House

5105 Leary Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

A huge board game shop with a restaurant and bar attached where you can sample games they have available while you eat. One of Jon's favorite places.

Mox Boarding House

13310 Bel-Red Road, Bellevue, WA 98005

Why only go to one board game shop when you can go to two? An even bigger location than the other, with a similar restaurant and bar attached.

Jupiter Bar

2126 2nd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121

Bar in the front, old school video game and pinball arcade in the back. Cool local art all over the walls. It's like your childhood, just boozier.

Canon Bar

928 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122

A cozy bar with the largest spirit collection in America. They serve interesting cocktails in unique containers (ever wanted to drink out of a Legend of Zelda game cartridge?). It's best to go early evening to avoid the late night rush and it's a small venue so they can only seat parties of 4 or fewer.

Hillcrest Bakery

10010 Main Street, Bothell, WA 98011
, (425) 486-5292

Alexa's Cafe & Catering

10115 Main Street, Bothell, WA 98011
, (425) 402-1754

Snoqualmie Falls Trail

Snoqualmie, WA 98024

An easy, short walk on paved roads down to a beautiful waterfall that drops almost 270 feet!

Twin Falls Trail

North Bend, WA 98045

A moderate difficulty, medium length hike up to a waterfall in the forest.

Rattlesnake Ridge Trail

North Bend, WA 98045

A moderate difficulty, medium length hike with vista views across a lake and mountain forests.

Little Si Trail

North Bend, WA 98045

A moderate difficulty, medium length hike with a summit view over the town of North Bend.

Mount Si Trail

North Bend, WA 98045

A hard difficulty, and long length hike to a summit with amazing views (assuming it's not cloudy at the top).
