I’m Blane Kelly, the best man, and I’ve known the groom my entire life because we’re exactly six months apart, which pretty much means we’ve been getting into (and out of) trouble together since day one. I work as a welder or “I glue metal together” for a living. When I’m not working, I’m usually on my motorcycle, keeping up with sports or in the process of buying myself a new truck. Life tends to stay interesting, and I’m truly honored to stand by his side and be part of such an important day.

Hi everybody, I’m Taylor, Jill’s Maid of Honor! I met Jill through our sorority in college, and she quickly became one of my closest friends after living together our junior and senior years. I also share Jill’s love for traveling and we have gotten to go on a few international trips together! I am so excited for Jill and Javan’s special day and am honored to be there for Jill as she enters this new phase of life!

My name is Brenden Swindle, I am a student at WSU and a Zookeeper at Sedgwick County zoo. Javan and I first became friends are freshman year of college when we both swam at Barton Community College. We’ve been great friends ever since. I remember meeting Jill at a Freddy’s and I knew that they would get married. Javan is one of my closest friends and I am honored to be one of his groomsmen and to stand by his side.

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am one of Jill’s bridesmaids! I have been friends with Jill for 5 years! We majored together at Oklahoma Christian University. I love to paint, play games, shop for antiques, and travel. I am so honored to be a part of the wedding and share in the happiness between Jill and Javan!

I’m Kaden Starcznski, born in Minneapolis, so I’ll always be a bit of a northerner at heart. I spend most of my time snowboarding, swimming at the collegiate level, and lifting, and I really enjoy staying active. In Genetics class Javan and I learned we have what’s known as “Superman syndrome”. I’m a big fan of all kinds of music and movies, and I’m genuinely grateful to be part of this wedding and to celebrate such a meaningful day.

I’ve known Jill for most of my life due to going to the same church, but we grew close in 2015 when our friend groups merged. After that, our J&L Adventures ranged from yummy Wichita eats & coffee shops to concerts in the Silver Bullet to rooftop Krispy Kremes and Starbucks! We’ve hiked, ran, rode four-wheelers, kayaked, and walked many miles together, and I still enjoy these hobbies with my husband, Malachi, and my golden retriever, Maverick! About 2 years ago, Jill and Javan helped us move houses, and I remember thinking that if they could handle that, then they were end game for sure! I’m grateful to get to support Jill in her new adventure with Javan!

I’m Kimble Thompson, and I’ve known the groom since elementary school and as he is “Stick” I’m “Brick”. My truck is a square body Chevy named Big Red, and yes, it’s a big part of my personality. These days, I spend my time with my wife, Lauren, who makes life a whole lot better, and it’s cool we get to be in each others’ weddings. I’m usually just happy to be around good people, having a good time, and I’m really glad to be here celebrating with everyone.

Hello! I am Mady, one of Jill's bridesmaids! I first met Jill in our Freshman year of college as we were both studying Interior Architecture. Since then, we have become great friends and life long travel buddies. Some of my favourite things are to paint, travel and to go hiking with my dog! Jeremiah Job and Sophie Faith are cousins of the groom and are headed to kindergarten and preschool this fall. “Jerry” is a wild and spunky five-year-old who loves animals, being outside, and can recite all 12 of Joseph’s brothers from the Bible. Sophie loves all things girly, swimming, and spending time with her brother — she hopes to be a “wifeguard” at the pool someday! They’re excited to be part of the wedding and can’t wait to celebrate the big day with everyone they love.
