FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

YES! We welcome all kids to join us for this happy day. There will be a movie room with babysitters at the reception if they get tired - or they can dance with us all night long!!! Or you can leave them home entirely - whatever is best for you is best for us! We will also have a nursing mothers room.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Zola and West Elm

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! If you are vegan or such, let us know too. :)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is lots of parking both places and you can leave your car overnight at the Bedford if you decide to ride share home.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a wedding block at the Noelle hotel - there is a great speakeasy in the basement, a fun bar in the lobby and a great rooftop! We are also lucky this is low season for hotels. We love the new Westin, JW Marriott. In the Gulch is the Thompson, where we got engaged! The Bobby is new and so is the Cambria - we like them both too. The Union Station and the Hermitage are lovely and old and stately. You really can't go wrong!!! Use those point and find your favorite hotel to be home for the weekend! We are also Airbnb hosts and love supporting our fellow hosts if you want to get a house with your friends!

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Downtown is walkable and fun. Ubers and Lyfts are cheap and plentiful. There is lots to see outside the city center (like civil war history etc), so it just depends! It is not necessary for the wedding festivities, as everything is quite close to one another.

Question

Is Nashville fun for New Years?

Answer

Duh! See more information here: https://www.visitmusiccity.com/newyearseve

Question

What is the Feast of the Epiphany?

Answer

We are thrilled that our wedding mass will also be the official end to the Catholic liturgical Christmas season - Epiphany, when the 3 kings arrived. Sweet baby Jesus and a wedding all at once? Yes, please!

Question

Do you tip the Honky Tonk bands?

Answer

YES - we love that Nashville is Music City and you will hear tons of live music during your visit. All the bar bands play for tips, so buy them a beer and give them a thank you tip for their hard work.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We have no specific dress code for our guests. We hope you will wear whatever makes you feel GLAM and comfortable. Since it's an evening winter wedding - there is no way to be too GLAM for us! :) GO GLAM.
