Like all fairytales, Chris and Jill met by swiping right on a free dating app. Wait, is that NOT how fairytales typically begin? Anyway, upon noticing that Jill has a Westie, just like he does, Chris made the first move by sending Jill a short message. Even though Jill thought Chris was handsome and seemed normal enough, she couldn't help but notice that he lived in NJ (she lived in PA). Jill wasn't sure she should even reply to someone who lived an hour away, but with encouragement from her best friend (and dating consultant), she did. After a few messages back and forth, Chris asked Jill out for margaritas. For their first date, they met up at On The Border. First impressions on that first date were good - Jill was relieved that Chris was significantly taller than her (hard to come by) and Chris thought Jill was cute too...despite spilling her empanada cheese all over the place. To her surprise, Chris continued to ask her out! After a year and a half, Jill made the move to NJ to be with Chris. While in Cape May for a long weekend in September 2019, Chris popped the question!
