Less than two blocks from the Renaissance and Hotel Monaco is the Museum of the American Revolution. If you are looking for an enriching historical experience, you won't want to miss this! Allow a few hours if you can. Tickets required.
Would it even be a trip to Old City if you didn't visit the Liberty Bell? Guess what - this US icon is just a few steps from the hotels and our wedding venue. Even if you don't carve about specific time to see this, you will have an opportunity to walk/drive by it on your way to the wedding. Jill's recommendation is to skip the lines and just take in the scenery here.
The Philadelphia Art Museum is a must see if you have the time to venture from Old City. Rocky fans, this one is also for you. Be prepared that the line for the Rocky statue is longer than the museum entry. All jokes aside this is a beautiful part of the city and worth the long walk or short uber to see.
Pittsburgh foodies (Zupancics I'm looking at you) - this is a must see/eat! Reading Terminal Market is like an indoor "Strip District" with all of the cultural delights that you can imagine. We recommend coming here for an early lunch before the wedding if you are in town on Friday. Don't eat TOO MUCH because we have that pretty well covered too. This would also be a great stop before you head home!
Seafood, libation, and history lovers - this spot is for you! Set in the historic Bookbinders building, the Olde Bar is a great spot to grab oysters, lobster, and a cocktail. Fun fact is that Bryan hosted a surprise engagement party for us here :)
Panorama is a hidden Philadelphia gem that just so happens to be on the same block as Jill and Bryan's condo. With 120 wines ON TAP and hand rolled pastas, this place can't be beat. Tucked inside of a small boutique hotel, we highly recommend grabbing a spot at the bar or a table and letting this well-versed staff guide you through the menu.
