We first met at a house party in 2005. I remember meeting Shawn but he doesn't remember meeting me that day. A few years later he came across my profile on Facebook and because we had mutual friends, he assumed I went to high school with him. What started off as friendly exchanges on social media and support of my Vlogs blossomed into love February 2018. Shawn asked me on a brunch date and took the 3.5 hour drive from Jersey to MD. We had so much fun that he drove back down the next day and we have been inseparable ever since.

Shawn and I took a trip to NC for my grandmother's 90th Birthday Party. Later that evening he asked me to take him to my favorite restaurant in the area. Not expecting a proposal, I took him to my favorite hole in the wall seafood shack. I went to the bathroom and when I came back, Shawn was rambling about our relationship and how much we loved each other. I was growing impatient and wanted him to get the the point of his speech. Shawn pulled out the engagement ring, slid it across the table and said " You gonna marry me or Nah?" I was so excited and of course I said "YES!".
