Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What is the Dress code?
Answer
We would love to see you in your best clothes!! Overall we ask you to dress to impress (no jeans please). For the the wedding we ask, cocktail attire (suit for men, dresses for women) and for the reception it will be black tie optional. Indian attire is highly encouraged!

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

No, there are no restrictions! For the wedding ceremony, we would appreciate if you avoid wearing red because that is the color of the bride's dress :)

If I am a local guest who does not want to drive, is there another mode of transportation (Metro Train)?
Answer
Yes, you can use Red Line of Metro train and get down at "Farragut North". Exit from "L Street/Washington Square). Cross the street (Connecticut Avenue), the hotel is ~ 50 steps from the station, right Next to Gregory Coffee shop. How far is the airport from the hotel?

DCA is 5.4 miles (taxifare/uber is $18). You can also take Metro train and change to Red line for Farragut North. The hotel is right across the street.

I would like to call and reserve hotel room. Is there a code for the room booking?

You can use the link provided on the wedding website. However, you can call and provide the code "SGW" to get the same special rate negotiated for this wedding.

Are there restaurants around the hotel in walking distance?

Yes, there are several. You can exit the hotel from the main door, make a left, and left on L street.
