Our love story began in August 2019 at Christopher Newport University, where we were introduced by a mutual friend. What started as a simple conversation quickly grew into something meaningful. Our first date was at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. Both a little nervous at first, it didn’t take long for laughter and easy conversation to take over. From that moment, our connection felt natural and effortless. On March 31, 2020, Damian asked Jovia to be his girlfriend, marking the official beginning of our journey together. Over the years, our love continued to grow stronger. Then, on October 5, 2024, surrounded by friends and family, Damian asked Jovia to be his wife, and she said yes. From a nervous first date to a beautiful proposal, our story is one of love, laughter, and choosing each other every single day… and it’s only the beginning, which has led you here today to celebrate the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. So now here we are, celebrating the next milestone with you all.
