Man of Honor
Mithil, the Brother of the Bride, is eight years younger than Aishu. He would always watch his sister go through big life moments from afar; birthdays, graduations, etc. But for this moment Mithil will be front and center, playing the most vital role as the Man of Honor, in getting his sister married.

Maid of Honor
Taking it way back now to 2002! Aishu and Vaish met in the park of their old neighborhood, where Vaish, five years younger, confronted Aishu on what was with all the laughing coming in her direction. Aishu knew then this is a fiesty one, but she did not know she would be so lucky to have that fiesty friend with her through these last 20 years. So don't mess with the bride, otherwise you'll have this Maid of Honor to answer to.

Hemali was Aishu's first friend in high school. It's hard being the new kid, but it's a bit easier when there is a girl in gym class that keeps getting hit with the ball. Makes her approachable - and got Aishu a friend for life. A friend that is always supportive, kind, and even though life has taken them on different paths, they know they can always lean on each other for reassurance...and reminiscing about old songs.

Even though it was stated that Hemali was Aishu's first friend in high school, the sneaky truth is Prutha and Aishu briefly met the first day of high school orientation. While they met then, they became closer over the next couple of years. Aishu taught Prutha sarcasm and Prutha introduced Aishu to the "Super Salad" on the Olive Garden menu. They shared many jokes which they would laugh uncontrollably over, none of which are really funny enough to repeat here, and they also shared their fear of getting married. Jokes on them, they are both getting married this year. But truth be told, there is no one else Aishu would want to share this year with. This one's for High School Prutha and Aishu!

Aashraya is a recent addition to Aishu's life. They met just a couple of years ago and grew closer in the last. While Aashraya is 8 years younger than Aishu, she likes to be in bed by 9 pm even on a Saturday night and that helps make Aishu feel young when she can stay up longer than her. But that isn't why Aashraya is part of Aishu's bridal party. It's more because Aashraya is the type of person that cares to celebrate someone's accomplishments and happy moments even more than they do. She loves wholeheartedly and that's why we love her. Expect to see her up all night for the wedding weekend!

The story of how Anchal and Aishu met is a notorious one. While Hemali and Prutha were looking for friends, Anchal wasn't so interested in adding someone to her circle and therefore didn't like Aishu. But truth is no one can resist Aishu's charm forever, and over the next fifteen years they not only became close but have remained close. They've been on numerous trips together, celebrated numerous milestones together, and now Anchal is here by Aishu's side before she starts a new journey, together.

Suril, who this group lovingly calls "Captain", met Aishu during freshman year in college. He immediately integrated into the group with his fun and inquisitive nature. But it was the fact that Suril makes everyone feel safe and taken care of around him that made Aishu, and this whole group of old high school friends, stay close with him all these years after college as well. If you have a moment during the wedding, feel free to go to him for some real head scratchers.
