Mofongo is one of Puerto Rico's typical dishes. Green fried plantains, fried then mashed with salt, garlic, broth , olive oil and if the place is truly authentic they will add chicharron (pork rinds). Most restaurants will serve it by itself , with seafood or skirt steak. A must try!!!!
