What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/formal. Please refrain from wearing jeans/sweats, hats, or the color white. Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Although New Jersey fall weather can be inconsistent, the temperature tends to be an average of 60 degrees in October.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue seating limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless they are specifically addressed in your invitations. Thank you for your understanding.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your children, but this is a child-free event. Please only bring who is specifically indicated on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your children at home so you can celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at The Palace by 5:00.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We will have a top-shelf open bar available throughout the night.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on having an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting, cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor options, and the reception is set to take place indoors.

Is there food available for food with dietary restrictions?

When you receive your invitation, please indicate what your dietary restriction is and our venue will be happy to accommodate your needs.

Yes, The Palace is wheelchair accessible and provides other accessibility options, such as an elevator.

I'm visiting from out of town. Is there anything to do nearby?

Answer

Somerset, NJ is located 40 miles (approximately 1 hour) from New York City, 60 miles (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) from Philadelphia, and 16 miles (approximately 30 minutes) from Princeton. The Bridgewater Commons Mall is also 9 miles away (approximately 10 minutes).
