Jean Jho

Matron of Honor

What can I say about this amazing woman? There's too much to say, but here's just a few: Jean is someone who allows me to vent freely when my emotions are compromised and all reason goes out the window. She is always understanding and empathetic of my feelings and the struggles that I face, and never makes me feel like I'm crazy. She takes care of her family and is someone we can all lean on when things get rough. She is definitely one of a kind. Oh, and she makes the best food.

Matthew Lee

Best Man

Brother 2 of 3. Early on, it was a lot of copycat action since he attempted to copy everything I did and said. Perhaps it was to be expected since I was his 히야 (translated "big brother" and is what he still calls me to this day). Then, it progressed into hand-me-down clothes, Super Smash Bros., MapleStory, and Age of Empires. Despite home life being difficult a lot of the time and ever-increasing differences between 3 brothers, Matt was the glue that held us together. He was and is very even-tempered, understanding, selfless, and a joker. But, beyond mere blood relationship and a lifetime of fun - games, tennis, and basketball (in that order, chronologically) - Matt is also a man of God. I couldn't have asked for a better brother or friend. God knows I need/ed it.

Yuri Oh

Bridesmaid

I first stalked her on Xanga and was a huge hater because I thought she was trying to steal my friends. I finally met her in person at a friend's birthday party in 7th grade and my first words to her were, "Oh wow, you're tall." We instantly became friends and chatted over AIM basically every day and had frequent sleep overs. Since then, she has seen me at my lowest (and at my highest), yet still chooses to stay by my side and support me even when the odds are stacked against me. She accepts me for me, despite our vast differences and all of my craziness, which is one of the greatest gifts with which I've been blessed.

Timothy Lee

Groomsman

Youngest Brother. Brother 3 of 3. Timothy --> Timdeedee -> TT -> Tim -> T. Life with T was much more tumultuous than Matt (Brother 2 of 3). My earliest memories are of Matt and me taking a toy plastic screwdriver to T's head and pretending to unscrew his brain all whilst he helplessly screamed in terror for fear of losing his brain. T was forced to mature quickly since I never went easy on him in sports, math challenges, video games, etc. And mature he did. T grew to become understanding, wise, sensitive (the good kind) and hard-working, all while watching 3 Ninjas, Rush Hour, and Surf's Up 100+ times since we didn't have cable. Most importantly, he loves and trusts Jesus. I am very proud of this one and blessed to have him as the best youngest brother and friend I could ask for.

Soojin "Broster" Lee

Bridesmaid

We met years ago at a joint youth retreat. We bonded over the NigaHiga Ninja song and started hanging out ever since. We exercised together, watched movies and napped together, had sleepovers, etc. She very quickly and easily became my younger sister--or as I like to call her, my Broster (brother + sister = broster). Because she was very tomboy-ish at the time and looked like a cute little boy. And now she's all grown up and glamorous, and I'm the little boy. ._.

Joshua Kang

Groomsman

Met this guy ~15 years ago when he was 4 feet tall and rocked the Justin Bieber hair. Same today as 15 years ago, he never fails to brighten the mood and bring positive energy with him everywhere he goes. From him smashing me at ping-pong every Friday and Sunday at church, to countless hours of Mafia, League, tennis, basketball, and various other board/card games, it has been an honor to see this guy mature and grow. While some things are very much the same - mood brightening, stress and worry-free, etc. - and while it might have just been blissful innocence when we were younger, they have found their reason and their root in trusting and loving Jesus. Josh has always been like a younger brother to me, and the common theme for me seems to be that family makes the best friends.

Sarah Koh

Bridesmaid

(UCLA) roommate for life. When I first saw her, I thought she was the prettiest girl ever and I wanted to be her friend, but I felt like she was too pretty for me. We ended up taking a Korean class together and somehow ended up becoming friends despite my initial doubts. To this day, I still miss living with this beautiful woman. She is one of the greatest blessings in my life: a friend who prays for me, provides godly advice, lavishes me with gifts, spends intentional quality time with me, is weird with me, loves food like I do, and desires to enjoy life as much as possible.

Travis Yoon

Groomsman

Met at church (OPC) a couple years ago when a deacon introduced this buff MMA fighter with a mini-mohawk to me. Once we got past the awkward icebreaker talk, I knew that I wanted him as a close friend. He was slightly intimidating and seemed to have a shady past, but he seemed to love Jesus. Months go by and we both seem to have a man-crush for each other, but the relationship never really seemed to take off (at least from my perspective). I've known this guy for the least amount of time, and I definitely have the least in common with him out of the rest of the gang, but I trust that Travis is the friend I need to offer me perspective, accountability, and encouragement to pursue Christ in all facets of life. I want you up there with me, my guy.

Janice Kang

Bridesmaid

She was initially just Patrick's friend. But as soon as I met her, I immediately knew that she was someone I wanted to be good friends with. She has an aura about her brimming in confidence, compassion and care. We've had a good number of sleepovers where conversations would last late into the night, ranging from topics regarding boys (or boy problems) to deeper, personal struggles. It is a joy and honor to share life with my dear sister and friend whom I love and trust.
