Are the ceremony & reception at the same location?

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception will take place at Alexander Homestead.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We kindly ask you arrive by 5:30 PM to avoid interruptions, ceremony starts at 6 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Good news! We’ve got parking covered! Whether you’re coming for the ceremony or staying to dance the night away at the reception, there’s plenty of parking available.

Is there a dress code?

We’re asking for cocktail attire, think elegant, with a little sparkle. The theme is a romantic, whimsical fairytale vibe!

Will there be a bar, or is there a set selection of beverages?

we’ll have an open bar! 🍸🍾 So feel free to raise a glass and enjoy the celebration!

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. If the weather has other plans, we'll bring celebration indoors!

All guests are responsible for getting themselves to the venue. Be sure to arrive on time so you don't miss out on the fun!

What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?

We’ll be doing a buffet for dinner! If you have any more concerns, just ask our staff - they’re here to help!

What is the weather like in May in North Carolina?

The weather can vary quite a bit, from the low 50s to the high 80s. The ceremony is outdoors, so sunglasses or a jacket would be a good idea.
