It all started in July of 2024 with a simple message. Right after a conversation with my best friend about how ready I felt to meet the right person, I received a DM from a stranger who introduced himself as Noe. But he also added, "call me Wilem, it's my nickname". At the time, I had no idea that such a small, unexpected moment would turn into something so meaningful. And that his nickname will soon be my last name. We began talking, and from the very beginning, his intentions were clear. One of the first questions he asked me was, “Do you think we could make this work?” It caught me off guard, after all, we had only just met, but I paused and answered honestly: “If it’s God’s will, I don’t see why not.” From that moment on, everything seemed to fall into place. In August, we met in person for the first time, and any doubts quickly disappeared. What started as a conversation between two strangers grew into a deep friendship, and then into something much more. We became inseparable, building a relationship rooted in faith, love, and genuine companionship. Looking back, we can’t help but feel that our story was always meant to happen. The only thing we wish is that we had found each other sooner.
