Like every great teen rom-com, our story starts in the most unexpected of places: a high school Game Club meeting and a slightly chaotic pile of cash. We technically knew of each other way back in middle school. We shared hallways, passed each other in the cafeteria, maybe even sat a few desks apart—but we never actually spoke.
