How We Met

For weeks, we noticed each other at church, familiar faces passing by, exchanging glances but never words. Somehow, our paths kept crossing at the doorway. He would arrive just as she was stepping out. At first, it felt like coincidence, until it happened again, and again. Our first official introduction came one Saturday outside the church doors, thanks to Keysh, who casually brought us together. It was brief, just a few words shared, but something about that moment lingered. The real connection came a little later, when he was invited to a youth meeting at her house. That night, she walked him in, and when the meeting ended, what started as a simple goodbye turned into an hour long conversation neither of us wanted to end. Standing outside, laughing and talking, we realized how easily the conversation flowed and how naturally we connected. Before that evening, we had quiet impressions of each other. He thought she was beautiful but reserved, slipping in and out of church unnoticed. She thought he was the guy who always arrived late, until one Saturday presentation revealed a spark she could not ignore. But that night changed everything. She was warm, funny, smart, and outgoing. He was thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly complementary in ways neither of us expected. There was even a moment of hesitation, a gentle reminder that she was not interested in courting anyone at the time. But something deeper had already begun. What followed were more conversations, more meetings, and moments that felt less like chance and more like purpose. What started as brief encounters at a church doorway became long talks, shared laughter, and a connection that felt undeniable. In that first real conversation, we both realized this was not just a passing moment. It was the beginning of something far greater than we ever imagined.
