Our Love Story

Thomas and Jheimy met in the fall of 2015 neither one of them knowing their paths were crossed for a greater purpose. Their friendship grew over the years and became very close. After numerous attempts of asking her on dates they settled on a group camping trip. The group consisted of 6, including our bride and groom. Everyone was super excited about the trip because of all the activities there was to do at the campground. However just days before they were to embark on this adventure everyone backed out except for Thomas and Jheimy. Because they were friends, they decided to make the best of the situation and continue on with out the group. Once they got there, they spent 3 days doing Kayaking, hiking, and exploring. After the trip Jheimy will say it was the first time she “SAW” Thomas. Months had past and they were slowly exploring their relationship going on mini dates during lunch the occasional dinner. But the pivotal point was when they decided to take a weekend getaway to Key West. There the stars had aligned in their favor. Thomas took her on a romantic Sunset Cruise with a live band where they were able to enjoy a charcuterie board and drinks and met a couple with a very similar story of their own. Their new friends told them they must try this specific restaurant called Two Best friends, while taking mental notes there were no plans to actually go there. Thomas had made dinner reservations at a restaurant named Firefly, once they took their seats a song that Thomas had dedicated to her about a week prior (Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton) just magically started playing. To their surprise and enjoyment, they took it as a sign and continued on with dinner. After dinner they decided to walk back to the hotel while they finished their drinks. While walking they passed by a place that had a live band and decided to sit and watch until their drinks were finished. As soon as they sat down the band began to play Tennessee Whiskey. At this point Jheimy and Thomas were in shock, Jheimy with tears of Joy took this as another sign and they both sat listened with smiles on their faces. The next morning which was their last day of their trip decided to walk around and explore before going out to eat. As they were walking, they came across they restaurant their friends on the cruise recommended. They decided “why not let’s give it a try”, Thomas gave his name to the hostess. The hostess at that point looked at Thomas and Jheimy in utter shock, while their faces looked perplexed, she told them to please follow her so she can introduce them. Outside she guided them to 4 other couples “Thomas please let me introduce you to Thomas 1 Thomas 2 Thomas 3 Thomas 4, everyone meet Thomas 5.” Jheimy at this point said she could not take anymore SIGNS. It was this trip that solidified their feelings for each other and ever since their trip their relationship has grown to the deepest lengths, and their love for each other has multiplied exponentially.
