Last May we decided to take a vacation to Cancun, Mexico. Jhaylanny had planned a photo shoot for the two of us on the beach during our stay. Justin had kept the engagement ring hidden in his pocket during the 5 hour flight and somehow managed to keep it hidden once at the resort. The time had come for our photoshoot, and while Jhaylanny was getting ready, Justin went down to the lobby and planned out the entire proposal with the photographer. During the photoshoot, the photographer walked us over to a private doc and had Justin stand behind Jhaylanny for a photo. The photographer directed Jhaylanny to face toward the ocean while Justin stayed standing behind her. When the photographer told Jhaylanny to turn around, she found Justin on one knee holding a small black velvet box containing Jhaylanny’s dream ring. The whole proposal was very intimate and breathtaking. Cancun is a very special destination that holds a lot of meaning for the two of us. This explains why we chose to get married here on the same exact date just one year later!
