Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

The safety and health of our guests are our highest priorities, especially our guests who are both high-risk and medically unable to receive the vaccine. We are cautiously optimistic that our bridal party and wedding guests will all have the opportunity to be vaccinated by the fall (including the waiting period after the final shot) and Jamaica will be safe enough to welcome tourists again. All wedding block reservations are 100% refundable and there are no fees if we must move our wedding to a later date. We will continue to inform you of our plans as we hear the news.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Ideally by May 15th, 2021. While it's very early, due to the circumstances of COVID-19, we want to give our guests who want to travel to the wedding adequate time to make necessary no-fee bookings that can be adjusted if we need to move the wedding to a later date.

Question

Do I need a passport and visa?

Answer

Yes to passport and no to a visa. Americans can tour the island for up to 90 days with their passport. Need a passport? Check out the link here and feel free to ask us for any help! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

Question

What's The Weather Like?

Answer

Negril in October is going to be in the mid-80s Fahrenheit / high-20s Celsius. Remember to pack mosquito repellant and lots of sunscreen!

Question

Should I Carry Cash? Card?

Answer

Many markets and stores accept US dollars and credit cards. We recommend a mixture of: US Dollars and Jamaica Dollars as well as a credit card that can be used internationally.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is semi-formal. Think suits, gowns and cocktail dresses - tuxes optional.

Question

When Will You Be Arriving?

Answer

We'll be arriving the weekend beforehand. We anticipate the majority of our guests to arrive Thursday, October 21st, and leave Sunday, October 24th, and have arranged hotel room blocks for this timeframe - and we look forward to celebrating together at this time. Of course, you are more than welcome to arrive beforehand or stay later.
