Where is the wedding located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Mountain Memories at Thorpewood: 12805-A Mink Farm Road,Thurmont, MD 21788–1402 Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: Google maps may change the address to: "12805 Mink Farm Road" without the "A," which is okay!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open wine and beer bar. If you have a favorite wine or beer, feel free to let us know beforehand!

What type of cuisine will be served?

Answer

If we don't want to drive far after the wedding, where can we stay?

Please see our "Lodging" page. Please Note: There is low cell reception at the lodge. We recommend mapping your route beforehand :)

Is there reception to order an Uber/Lyft?

Answer

Cell reception (tested w/AT&T) is a bit spotty since we are up in the mountains. We recommend pre-ordering an Uber/Lyft ahead of time if you plan to use transportation services.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes, but please retrieve it before 10 AM the next day (Saturday, November 1st).

What type of attire should I wear?

Answer

We are recommending cocktail attire, but please keep in mind that it may be cold. Please, feel free to dress accordingly.

Is it Halloween themed?

Answer

No, but children are welcome to change into costumes for the reception. We will have candy for "trick-or-treat" at the tables :)
