We're getting married!

Jacob and I met our first year at Radford University. However, it was not love at first sight! After a little bit of talking, he politely declined my invitation to accompany me to my sorority banquet. Feeling defeated (and a little bit embarrassed), we didn't talk for months. It wasn't until December of that year that we went on our first date. We each drove over an hour to meet each other, and things finally started to fall into place.

The Monday after Nick's first birthday, Jacob and I had scheduled a photoshoot with Lindsey Welch Photography to capture the milestone! Lindsey asked Nick and I to pose for a few pictures just the two of us. I played with him for several minutes before finally turning around to see Jacob on one knee. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with each and every one of you.
