As life goes, we became acquaintances in 2017 but our story did not begin until four years later. It started as little talks about our time in the Marine Corps, and just life in general. Then, our conversations shifted to something more serious: memes. Our back-and-forth sharing of silly social media posts and reels became shared laughter and a close friendship that spanned seas and states. For years, our friendship grew stronger despite never having met in person. By 2024, we decided it was finally time for that to change. We fell for each other almost instantly! We officially started dating long-distance. It was difficult at times being apart from one another, but video calls and texting 24/7 made it feel like we were next to each other every day, spiritually and physically. We longed to be together as a family, so in 2025 we bought a house in Maysville, North Carolina - our first home together! Since the moment we fell in love, we have made so many life-changing and lovely memories. On April 23, 2026, the big question got asked and she said yes! Now, we are looking forward to making more beautiful memories in this next chapter of our life, including celebrating and sharing our love with our wonderful friends and families on September 18, 2026!
