Jay and Ty began their love story in April 2016, while attending Clark Atlanta University. After graduation in 2017, Jay moved to Washington, DC to obtain a law degree at Howard University and Ty remained in Atlanta, GA to attend pharmacy school at Mercer University. They embraced and survived a long distance journey until graduating with their respective degrees to become a lawyer and pharmacist, which then led them to their next chapter…ENGAGED! May 14th, 2021, together and back reunited, Jay got on one knee and asked Ty to marry him. Of course, she said "YES!". Thereafter, Ty joined Jay in Philadelphia, PA where they started the next chapter… Preparing to become Husband and Wife! March 7th, 2023, Jay and Ty found out they were going to become parents in July 2023! As you can imagine, a wide variety of emotions came over them, from complete shock to overjoyed with excitement. With this news, they have embraced the beginning of yet another chapter… FAMILY! To all of their family and friends who have celebrated and been apart of their love journey, thank you. Now, they are ready and excited to begin this next chapter of their lives together, as Husband and Wife with their baby boy.
