We attended a birthday dinner for our mutual friend Anna Moore before we officially met for our first date. Kyle had taken notice of Jezell in the restaurant and thought she was cute. As Jezell was leaving the dinner, another mutual friend Bonnie mentioned to Jezell that her friend Kyle was interested in getting her number. Jezell agreed and told Bonnie to pass along her number to Kyle. Kyle texted a few days later and asked Jezell on their first date. Our first date was around Valentine's Day 2016. Kyle had planned a romantic evening full of surprises! He surprised Jezell with ice skating at the beginning of their date and then took her to dinner and dancing at one of Nashville's best restaurants, Sambuca. They ended the night with Kyle gifting Jezell with a stuffed Gorilla for Valentine's Day. Kyle and Jezell continued to date and have been together for over 7 years. They have grown together through career changes, being long distance for a short period of time, and starting their new lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Kyle proposed to Jezell on January 14th, 2023. Kyle planned an intimate dinner with our family and friends to come down to Atlanta for our proposal. Jezell was under the impression that we were going to be attending a networking dinner event hosted by a chef that she uses for her real estate events. When Jezell walked into the restaurant and saw all of her and Kyle's family and friends, she was shocked to find out it was not a networking event! We are so excited to spend our new life together with the support of our loved ones and friends!
