How We Met
After both swiping right on the dating app Bumble, we met for our first date at Hojoko - bar near Fenway Park. Despite assuring her roommates she wouldn't be long, drinks turned into dinner and a walk around the neighborhood. Time flew by without checking her phone, Maddie left the first date with a good feeling about Nick and many missed calls from worried friends.
Once Nick found out Maddie was heading to Korea for two months to cover the Olympic games in Pyeongchang - he suggested a trip to Montreal. We got to know each other better over poutine, and after Nick told the Border Patrol Agent that Maddie was his girlfriend the rest was history.
We've enjoyed many adventures together - including a ski trip in Vermont where Nick proposed in March of 2024. We can't wait to celebrate our next step together with all of you.
