Our Story

May 2027: Our wedding day is just around the corner! We are very in love and so excited to celebrate with all of the wonderful people in our lives ❤️

May 2026: We are so happy to be there for the arrival of niece #3, Skylar!

July 2025: We're engaged! Jewell took Brooke to a beautiful waterfall in Ellicott City where they popped the question. Brooke immediately said yes and proposed right on back 💕

February 2025: Brooke and Jewell build our first beautiful snowman! Definitely didn't terrify the kids that saw it later that day.

December 2024: 34th street date! We think the man in this photo makes it funnier.

October 2024: Our first big trip together, which included a plane ride to California! Jewell handled Brooke's airport anxiety like a champ.

October 2024: Jewell is sure Brooke is "the one" when she befriends all the cats we meet in California.

September 2024: We move in together! Our proudest moment in home-ownership, adding our raccoon sticker to mark our trash can.

September 2024: Brooke and Jewell ease into the life of house projects with the notoriously easy task of floor refinishing.

July 2024: Pets meet each other for the first time, not knowing yet that they would all be great buds, playmates, and bird chasers together.

June 2024: Brooke realizes Jewell is "the one" on a trip to DC where Jewell figures out all of the metro transit for us (Brooke's aforementioned airport anxiety also shows up as train station anxiety)

June 2024: Niece #2 has arrived! Riley Jewell is welcomed to the family!

October 2023: More trips together! Both Jewell and Brooke are suckers for anywhere by water.

April 2023: Soaking up the NC sunshine together on our first trip! Our love of listening to thunderstorms together began this weekend.

February 2023: Jewell's first big snowstorm! Brooke made their hats!!

October 2022: We welcome our first niece, Josephine!

October 2022: Both Jewell and Brooke say "I love you" (after Brooke *accidentally* said it just a few weeks into dating... whoops!) Fun fact - this is the first picture we took together!

August 2022: This photo was taken immediately after our first date, when Brooke was recounting the date back home. As you can tell, she is quite giddy :)

Fun facts about our first date-Brooke asked Jewell out but they didn't think it was a "date" and brought a friend along. Jewell realized it was a date and asked Brooke out officially for the next day!

June 2022: Jewell and Brooke meet and hit it off at a house party Brooke hosted in June for Baltimore Pride. Jewell remembers the exact spot they got the first text from Brooke the week after!
