We went to the same high school and somehow never really knew each other, passing in the same hallways without realizing our story was waiting to begin. Years later, we both ended up in a friend’s wedding: him as the Best Man, me a bridesmaid. Somewhere between the bridal era parties and influence from friends, we connected. What started as catching up quickly turned into something more, and by the time our friends said “I do,” we were already officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Turns out we didn’t miss our chance in high school… we were just waiting for the right wedding.
