We recommend arriving 25-35 minutes before the ceremony starts. This will give you plenty of time to find your seat, get comfortable, and enjoy cocktails and tapas before the celebration begins.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. The local restaurants, beaches, and wedding venue are spread out across the area and not within walking distance. Having your own transportation will give you the freedom to explore the destination with ease and convenience. Both San Juan (SJU) and Aguadilla (BQN) airports feature major car rental companies like Hertz, Enterprise, and Budget. We suggest reserving your rental car in advance through websites such as Expedia, Kayak, Rentalcars.com, or directly through rental company websites. Pro tip: If you're flying into San Juan, renting a car is essential for reaching the west coast and exploring the area, as rideshares and taxis are limited outside major cities.

What airport should I fly into?

For your convenience, Puerto Rico offers two airports that can accommodate your travel plans: Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) in Aguadilla is the closest to our wedding venue, just 20–30 minutes away. While it may have more limited flight options, it provides the most direct route to our celebration. Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan offers more flight choices and potentially lower fares, though it's located about 2.5–3 hours from the west coast. Both airports are viable options, so we recommend selecting the one that best suits your travel preferences and budget.
